SGH Architects was engaged to reimagine and redesign Moreno Valley College’s iMake program, part of a major renovation of the existing first-floor Science and Technology building.

The project reflects the College’s vision to provide students with innovative, future-focused spaces that support creativity, collaboration, and applied learning.

The new iMake Innovation Center, also known as the Makerspace, offers students a collaborative environment where ideas can come to life.

Equipped with high-tech tools, advanced machinery, computer programs, and a variety of materials, the space empowers students to design, build, and experiment in ways that bridge academics with real-world applications.

To fully realize the College’s vision, SGH Architects delivered a complete interior redesign and reconstruction of the space.

The design fosters open interaction, cross-disciplinary projects, and hands-on learning, creating an environment where students can thrive both individually and as part of a team.
