New Spaces for Dining and Retail
Phase Two consists of two new buildings totaling 15,250 square feet, thoughtfully designed to accommodate restaurant and retail establishments. These additions expand the district’s offerings, creating new destinations for residents, visitors, and patrons of downtown Redlands.
Contextual Design and Character
Located immediately south of Phase One, the architectural character of Phase Two draws inspiration from Redlands’ historic agrarian roots.
The design borrows cues from the citrus packing houses of the late 20th century, seamlessly integrating the new buildings into the existing fabric of the district while honoring the area’s rich heritage.
Enhancing the Community Experience
By combining contextual design with functional, modern spaces, Phase Two of the Packing House District strengthens the identity and appeal of downtown Redlands.
The project not only expands opportunities for commerce and dining but also reinforces the district’s role as a cultural and social hub, enhancing the experience for both the local community and visitors alike.
