Project Overview
The Saugus Union School District has embarked on a significant campus improvement effort at James Foster Elementary School, aimed at creating a more permanent, efficient, and inspiring learning environment.

Modern Learning Facilities
The new 11,000-square-foot, two-story classroom building will serve as a cornerstone of the campus transformation. Designed to provide modern, permanent spaces for teaching and learning, the building not only enhances the aesthetic of the campus but also delivers greater functionality, safety, and efficiency.
This investment ensures that students and teachers can thrive in a setting built for the future.
Flexible and Collaborative Spaces
Complementing the main classroom building is a new 1,500-square-foot Flex Classroom, thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of instructional approaches.
This adaptable space supports both individual and group learning, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and creativity. By integrating flexibility into the design, the District is preparing students for the evolving demands of 21st-century education.
Building for the Future
Together, these improvements create a campus that is not only more efficient and sustainable but also more enriching for students and staff.
By replacing temporary structures with modern, future-ready facilities, the James Foster Elementary School project reflects Saugus Union School District’s ongoing dedication to providing high-quality learning environments where students can grow, achieve, and succeed for years to come.
